Homecoming week is October 5 - 9.
SGA has planned several activities that will be taking place during this time. Students will compete in these activities in order to earn points and ultimately win Homecoming week!

Dress-Up Days:
- The percentage of the class dressed will earn 10 points a day.
- Clothing must still be in dress code.
- Best Dressed student will be selected each day. Prizes include one of the following: free ticket to game, free admission to dance, or free Pinnacle t-shirt.
- The Class Painted Sheet is worth 25 points for each grade level who participates. The overall winner of the Class Sheet competition will receive 50 points.
- Sheets will be judged during Homecoming week and winner announced during the pep rally.
- Certain kind-hearted teachers have volunteered to assist with the Class Sheet Activity.
- ALL SGA members will help their SGA peers that are in the same grade level. SGA members can ask up to 3 students (not in SGA but within their grade level) to help with this activity, as well.
- We plan to display sheets in the hall, the gym, during the pep rally, and the stadium, during the game.
- Sheets should be completed by Friday, October 2, so they can be displayed in the hall all week.
- Class "V"s will be hidden each day. Find your class "V" and earn 10 points; find another class "V" and earn 15 points.
- Assigned SGA students are in charge of asking one teacher per grade level to hide the "V" each day. That teacher will hide the "V" each day of Homecoming Week.
- Seniors - RED, Juniors - WHITE, Sophmores - BLUE, and Freshman - BLACK
- Community "V" will be hidden in the community (within a 1 mile radius) with clues provided each day as to where it can be found. Clues will be shared via announcements, website, and email.
- The class that finds this "V" earns 50 points.
- One teacher has been asked to hide the Community "V" and will provide a new clue each day until the "V" is found.
- Game will be played on Thursday, October 8 during part of 6th and 7th period. (approx. 1:30-3:00)
- Students who are participating will be dismissed at 1:00 pm.
- Students who are simply attending will be dismissed at 1:30 pm.
- The elementary and middle school students will be invited, as well.
- Cost of admission is $1.00.
- Coaches - Juniors (Jaythan Blanton) and Seniors (Matthew Harrington)
- Announcers - Coach Bolzle and Coach Norris
- Refs - Coach Johnson and Coach Lay
- Minute-To-Win-It games - Grade levels will compete in these activities during the first half of the hour-long pep rally on Friday, October 9.
- The winning grade level will receive 10 points for each game they win.
- Six Senior girls were chosen by the Senior Class to represent Vinemont High School's 2015 Homecoming Court: Amanda Hyjek, Karlie Cupp, Bailey Morgan, Kelsi Smith, Erin Handley and Abby Johnson.
- The entire school will vote on Monday, October 5 for Homecoming Queen.
- Court will practice half-time ceremony with Mrs. Conquest and the band on Tuesday, October 6 during 7th period (on the football field).
- The queen will be announced / crowned during half time of the Homecoming game.
- Dance will follow the game.
- No elementary or middle school students allowed.
- Admission is $5.00 per person. (Homecoming court and date will get in for free.)
